Nomination Allocations for 2024-25

The Australian Migration Program allows states and territories to nominate eligible candidates for specific visa categories:

• Skilled – Nominated (subclass 190): A permanent visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government. It allows visa holders to live and work in Australia as permanent residents.

• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491): A provisional visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government or sponsored by a family member living in a designated regional area. It permits visa holders to live, work, and study in these regions for up to five years and provides a pathway to permanent residency.

Each state and territory has its criteria for evaluating and nominating eligible visa applicants, resulting in varying requirements and eligibility criteria.
